Yoga Basics:

This is a class with full descriptions of poses, it moves more slowly than the Yoga flow, offering the same full-body approach and sequence. This is great for those that need to become more familiar with the basics of Yoga.

Gentle Yoga:

This class is a gentle flow geared towards stretching and doing your practice at a calmer pace.  Although it is at a gentler pace it is still a strong practice and is recommended for all levels to increase flexibility and strength while working on alignment.

Mixed Levels:

This class is suitable for all levels of practice, beginners are welcome. We offer modifications for various poses to allow you to determine what feels best for your body.  Class starts with a warm up sequence,  practice sun-salutations and standing poses, develop balance by working with a series of  balance poses,  seated poses, ending with finishing sequence which includes spinal twists and  modified backbends. This class reconnects you from head to toe creating a sense of balance and well-being.

Vinyasa Flow– Intermediate Level (some Yoga is recommended)

This is strong flowing series of repetitive asanas.  A good workout will be had by all. A general knowledge of Yoga poses is recommended for this class.  Moderate to Vigorous workout.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga is an umbrella term for most forms of yoga practiced today. The benefits of yoga practice are many and include improved flexibility, strength, concentration, posture, and balance. You will also relieve stress and focus the mind through asana (the practicing of poses), pranayama(deep breathing techniques), meditative techniques including visualizations, and deep relaxation (savasana). All levels and abilities are welcome and modifications of asanas will be addressed.

Empower Hour

This class is a strength building class.  Asanas are more vigorous and the focus is on improving skill and strength.  This class will get your moving and you will feel powerful.  A general knowledge of yoga poses is recommended for this class.

Pre-Natal Yoga

In this class you will learn asana modifications, effective visualizations and breathing techniques to assist you during labor, as well as techniques to help alleviate some of the common discomforts associated with pregnancy. Research has shown that women who participate in Pre-Natal yoga classes are more likely to experience less complications, shorter labor, closer to term births, and a more positive mental attitude, plus the fact that you are bonding and sharing information with other women experiencing what you are going through. Health care providers permission is advised.

Yoga-Xpress
This class gets you up and moving. Work through a variety of poses and perfect your alignment.  All levels are welcome.
